Help Send a Child to School

Lighthouse Scholarship helps students in Uganda stay in school. In this message, Michael Mugasha of Lighthouse Farms International shares why he started the program, who it helps, and how you can take part. Since 2017, Lighthouse Farms and its friends have supported students all the way to university. After COVID disrupted our finances, we paused. This year we restarted, and the need is growing: many of these children would be the first in their family to attend secondary school, and some have parents who are too ill to pay for their care and their school fees. Your support goes directly to the student you choose, and we'll keep you updated on their progress. We also teach practical skills, such as tailoring and jewelry making.
